I hope you are all well this fine, sunny, afternoon.
I have some news to share with you. I may be moving house in the very imminent future. My Husband and I have come to the conclusion that we really need to move closer to our elderly parents to be on hand to help care and support them in their twilight years. We think we have found the perfect house and if things progress smoothly this could very well be my last post for some time. I have some serious decluttering to do before I can even begin to tackle packing! All of this comes very quickly after being diagnosed with fibromyalgia, which isn't going to make the task easy, to say the least.
We are also downsizing which means I will no longer have a dedicated craft room! I will, however, make sure I have some sort of crafting space....somewhere.
So, without further ado here is todays card.
The supplies used here are
* Crafters companion / Sara Davies floral delight paper pad
* Presscut square nesting dies
* Spellbinders long classic rectangles
* Spellbinders standard circles large
* M&C Boutique scalloped circles
* Dali Art circle and square sentiment stamps
* Crafters companion / Sara Davies filigree flourish
* Sue Wilson / Creative Expressions striped nasturtiums
* Distress ink victorian velvet
* Versacolor raspberry and peony
* Stamens from my stash
I had to keep things super simple due to lack of time but I quite like the end result and I hope you do too.
So, there we have it. I really hope I do get a chance for some sort of crafting but as our potential new home will need redecorating from top to bottom, I may have to wait a while.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your continued visits and lovely comments. I shall endeavour to get my crafting space sorted and functional ASAP and I shall be posting again as soon as is humanly possible.
(There is of course the possibility that things may not work out so I could be crafting again relatively soon).
Take care and please stop by again when I return xx
So very pretty....I wish you well with you new venture, as you say not an easy task, in fact jolly hard work, especially downsizing and you have to declutter, but no craft room, that could mean disaster, I know it would for me....My thoughts go with you as far as fibromyalgia is concerned, not a nice thing at all, I have several friends who have it and see how they suffer...my thoughts and prayers are with you...luv Ursula xx
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for your kind words Ursula. I'm really looking forward to it, despite the hard work. Fortunately my wonderful Husband may have worked out a solution to give me a craft room in our new home. I shall just plod on and take it a day at a time. I look forward to you visiting again on my return to blog land ☺ xx
